CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

OVERVIEW:

As the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the candidate would be responsible for the following areas:

Administration, customer service, human resources, information technology, procurement, cyber security, supply chain, warehouse, and safety & security

Direct Report:  10+ Directors and Managers.  Dotted lines:  10 staff and analysts.  

Reports directly to the CEO

EXPECTATIONS:

The COO is the key figure to execute the plans and strategy of the CEO with regards to operations and administration related matters including protection of physical assets, cost control & recovery, process improvements, product development, staff talent development, risk management, city, state & federal compliance, budget implementation & strategy, human capital investments & development, implement cyber security protocols, customer service and warehouse management.

As the go-to individual at the C-level, the COO must have at least 20+ years of successful combined experience and track record in the fields of Engineering, FinTech, Manufacturing, Retail, Health Care operations and/or hospitality.

The COO is expected to have professional working relationships with all executives, directors, managers, and other internal/external stakeholders.

DUTIES & CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The right candidate must have solid experience, proven and successful track record in the following duties:

  • Expected to successfully manage all aspects of data flow, information technology, property & equipment, asset protection, project management, supply chain & warehousing, human resources, cyber security, etc.
  • Development of operational budget, product development, employee retention, performance metrics, business strategies and SOP materials and documentation that all department directors would support and execute
  • Enhancement of operation processes and control by streamlining workflow and providing the necessary equipment & tools to execute plans and strategies
  • Negotiate deals relating to costs, inventory, expansion, and capital funds
  • Work side-by-side with the CEO and the rest of the executive committee to develop operational strategies, measurable metrics and realistic, but ambitious KPIs
  • Responsible for all city, state & federal due diligence, research, executions and compliance by spearheading committees and executive planning staff
  • Come up with creative solutions in alleviating issues whether it relates to operations, supply chain, human retention and development, warehousing, and asset management and protection
  • As a key figure in the company, the CEO is expected to lead all senior management on corporate development, succession planning and corporate expansion initiatives 
  • Must be the leading person to present improvement plans to the CEO to maintain the company’s competitive advantage and strategies

REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERENCES:

  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, efficient, accurate, and exceptionally analytical
  • Must possess in depth understanding of engineering, information technology, operations, and supply chain
  • Must exude confidence, strong leadership influence and high emotional intelligence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required since the role would be collaborating with various directors, senior managers, accounting staff, audit committees, and other senior executives of the Company.
  • Experiential engineering, technology or operational foundation is a must
  • Professional affiliation and other external association would be ideal
  • Advance degree such as MBA, master’s in accounting or Finance is preferred but not required

SALARY RANGE:

Based salary would be $150,000 and $200,000 plus executive benefits and other Incentives

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

OVERVIEW:

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the candidate would be responsible for the following areas:

Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Human Resources, Risk Management, Consumer Finance, Audit, Cost Accounting, and Inventory Analysis.  In addition, the CFO is expected to build and have ongoing relationships with outside financing and banking institutions for capital funds and investments.

Direct Report:  15+ Vice Presidents, Directors, and Managers.  Dotted lines:  10 mid-management members.  

Reports directly to the CEO & the Board of Directors.

EXPECTATIONS:

The CFO is the key figure to execute the plans and strategy of the CEO relating to all Financial related matters including fiduciary responsibility, cost control & recovery, profitability analysis, board reporting, risk management, governmental compliance, financial controls, budget strategy, corporate investments, audit integrity and financial reporting.

As the go-to individual at the C-level, the CFO must have at least 20+ years of successful combined experience and track record in the fields of FinTech, Manufacturing, Retail, Investment banking, Public Accounting, Health Care and/or hospitality.

The CFO is expected to have professional working relationships with all executives, directors, managers, and other internal/external stakeholders.

The right candidate must have solid experience, proven and successful track record in the following duties:

  • Expected to successfully manage all aspects of the accounting including AP, AR, Payroll, Treasury, Financial and business planning analysis, audit committee, etc.
  • Development of operational budget, capital expenditure plan, performance metrics, business strategies and financial projections that all department directors would support and execute
  • Ultimately Responsible for all cash management, capital fundraising and banking relationships
  • Enhancement of accounting processes and control to ensure compliance with GAAP
  • Negotiate deals relating to costs, inventory, expansion, and capital funds
  • Work side-by-side with the CEO and the rest of the executive committee to develop corporate strategies and realistic revenue and sales projections
  • Responsible for all financial due diligence, research, and executions by offering concrete and sound recommendations that the executive committee senior management can rely on
  • Come up with creative solutions in alleviating issues whether it relates to finance, supply chain, human resources, accounting, or operations
  • As a key figure in the company, the CFO is expected to lead all senior management on corporate development, succession planning and corporate expansion initiatives 
  • Present audited Financial Statements to the Board of directors, executive committee, and senior management

REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERENCES:

  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, efficient, accurate, and exceptionally analytical
  • Must possess in depth understanding of US GAAP, accounting operations, and other technical accounting rules and requirements
  • Must exude confidence, strong leadership influence and high emotional intelligence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required since the role would be collaborating with various directors, senior managers, accounting staff, audit committees, and other senior executives of the Company.
  • Experiential Public Accounting foundation is a must
  • Professional affiliation and other external association would be ideal
  • Advance degree such as MBA, master’s in accounting or Finance is preferred
  • CPA Certification is preferred, but not required.

SALARY RANGE:

Based salary would be $170,000 – $200,000 plus executive benefits and other Incentives

DIRECTOR OF SEC REPORTING

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the company’s SEC form 10-Q, 10-K and 8-k Reporting by working closely with the CFO, legal counsels, and the audit committee.
  • Write and implement reporting procedures and compliance of all SEC Forms, while ensuring that all filing requirements, reporting, and coordination are done correctly
  • In charge of the preparation and accuracy of all SEC Forms including the coordination of staff, attorneys and auditors, preparation of the notes, tie-out packages, form check, signature pages, management representation letter, disclosure checklist etc. 
  • Proficient in technical accounting research as necessary and review of new FASB pronouncements for possible implementation.
  • Assist in the interpretation of SOP and the dissemination of this information to all managers, directors and senior executives ensuring that all required accounting follows GAAP

EXPECTATIONS:

The candidate must have at least 3-5 years of public accounting experience with a concentration in Audit and SEC filings. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and must be a self-starter, while expected to collaboratively work with various personalities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required since the role would be collaborating with various directors, managers, accounting staff, audit committees, and senior executives of the Company.

PREFERRED INDUSTRY:

Background in Fintech, Investment Banking, Banking, Financial services, Securities, and/or Technology Firms

REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERENCES:

  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and exceptionally analytical
  • Proven track record in research of accounting pronouncements and in assisting of past companies with proper accounting treatments and disclosures in their financial statements while having reporting ownership of past SEC Filings
  • Led engagements as an experienced associate with the responsibility of overseeing up to three staff at a time while being responsible for creating audit, financial statements, and reporting for various industries.
  • Active Certified Public Accounting Certification is required

SALARY RANGE:

$140K – $175K Annually

WAREHOUSE MANAGER

As the Senior Warehouse Manager, the candidate would be responsible for the following areas:

Inventory Control, finished goods, transfer of goods, warehouse facilities, deadstock & discontinued products, warehouse maintenance and staffing

Direct Report:  10+ Warehouse Managers.  Dotted lines:  10-15 warehouse staffs and analysts.  

Reports directly to the COO

EXPECTATIONS:

The Senior Warehouse Manager is the key figure to design an innovative and proper functions of 7 warehouse facilities to ensure maximum utilization of warehouse spaces, technology, and equipment. 

This individual should be exceptionally analytical because of various moving parts as it relates to inventory control, physical workflow, and warehouse traffic including transfer, receiving, dispatch and storage of all goods.

Ideally, the person must have at least 10 years of engineering or supply chain background with the highest safety record and accomplishments.

The Senior Warehouse Manager is expected to have professional working relationships with all executives, directors, managers, and other internal/external stakeholders.

DUTIES & CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The right candidate must have solid experience, proven and successful track record in the following duties:

  • Enhancement of operation processes and control by streamlining workflow and providing the necessary equipment & tools to execute plans and strategies
  • Negotiate pricing structures with outside shipping companies and 3rd party commercial warehouses
  • Must be the go-to executive to advice on effective warehouse utilization with the goal of having proper safety procedures relating to unloading, stock shipments, unloading inbound products, warehousing of finished goods and traffic control of all container trucks
  • Monitor FIFO Method of dispatchment of all finished goods based on wholesale demands activities by ensuring efficient proper flow of goods
  • Lead team members of over 20 managers and warehouse staff by maintaining positive employee moral
  • Accurate inventory of all finished products must be the priority with strong understanding of cycle count, systems records, and proper accounting of all dispersed products
  • Maintain minimal inventory variance analysis by implementing strong controls, check and balances and preventive countermeasures
  • Expected to have strong customer service experience with high emotional intelligence
  • Ensure strong safety records on all warehouses by putting procedures in place that meet above industry guidelines

STAFF / SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in preparation of the month/year-end Financial Statements such as balance sheet, income statement, and variance reports
  • Perform cash accounts reconciliation, balance sheet analysis, production analysis, and FIFO Costing analysis
  • Review GL entries and posting while being responsible for all accounts reconciliation relating to AP, AR, bank statements, payroll activities, and inventory cost accounting
  • Work closely with the accounting manager and/or controller on critical issues relating to the Financial Statements and General Ledger
  • Reports directly to the Assistant Controller or Accounting Manager

EXPECTATIONS:

  • Must be proficient in general ledger accounts and maintenance with highly accurate understanding of the debits and credits accounting records, entries, rules, and transactions by using double-entry accounting system.
  • Proven track record working with AP, AR, Payroll and GL staff including expected deliverable on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • At least 3-5 years of Financial Statement preparation of Monthly Income Statement, Balance Sheet, cash flow statements including package presentation to the Controller

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, efficient, accurate, and exceptionally analytical
  • The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and must be a self-starter, while expected to collaboratively work with various staff members and other managers.  Must have strong interpersonal skill when working with other team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required since the role would be collaborating with various managers, directors, and other staff members
  • Intermediate understanding of Excel, word and exposure to accounting and ERP software such as Quickbooks, Oracle NetSuite, Great plains, AS400, etc.
  • Public Accounting audit experience is a plus, but not required
  • CPA Certification is preferred, but not required
  • Accounting or Finance degree is required

PREFERRED INDUSTRY:

Fintech, manufacturing, online retail, banking, and other industries high-volume accounting activities

SALARY RANGE:

  • Staff Accountant $60k – 70k
  • Senior Accountant $70 – 80k
